This year, the session of Interreg Baltic Sea Region Dialogues celebrated the 20th anniversary of the work in the Russian National Sub-Committee of the Programme. Representatives of the Russian regions in the Programme share achievements of Interreg projects.
The lead partner was invited to present LUCIA in the Interreg BSR session at the Russian Forum and presented about the solutions LUCIA has developed in the Interreg BSR project, on the pilot sites and the next steps of our progress and in dessimination of the project results.
The forum shared ideas about the future of transnational cooperation in the Baltic Sea region and what the upcoming programme period 2021-2027 offers. The Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat of the Programme presented the Programme’s thematic priorities ‘Innovative societies’, ‘Water-smart societies’, and ‘Climate-neutral societies’. The members of the Russian National Sub-Committee shared their expectations to future projects. In this, they consider strategic sustainable development goals for constituent entities of Russia and the North-West Federal District as a whole.
