Lights on! LUCIA lighting conference

The final event after three years of project duration will be the LUCIA lighting conference.

The conference  provides impulses for local authorities, lighting planners and other stakeholders to implement their plans for energy-efficient, multifunctional and sustainable lighting.

We are very pleased to announce that Meri Lumela, Mayor of Jyväskylä, Finland and President of the Luci Association will contribute a keynote. Policy officer & smart city specialist Mr. Georg Houben from EU Commission’s Directorate General for Energy (DG Energy) is scheduled to speak in the session of economic aspects and Dr. Katharina Erdmenger, Permanent Representation of the Federal Republic of
Germany to the European Union introduces the session social acceptance, lighting design and darkness in cities.

The pillars of the conference are five main sessions:
